ERR& Insight Reprise #1 What Is the HR Accelerator?

ERR& Insight

Today, I am launching a new series: ERR& Insight Reprise.
In this series, I will revisit selected themes from past ERR& Insight articles and present them in a more structured, visual format, with AI-assisted visualization.
This series will be shared mainly through my personal LinkedIn posts as a visual recap of past ERR& Insight articles.
The first post revisits two articles:

ERR& Insight Vol. 11 How Does DX–AI Transform HR Organizations? — The Road to Human-Centric HR, Published on November 22, 2025
ERR& Insight Vol. 11 Supplement: What Is the HR Accelerator? — The Key Role of HR in the Age of DX–AI, Published on December 6, 2025

The core question is simple:
How will HR organizations change in the age of DX–AI?
This is often discussed in terms of automation, productivity, or digital tools.

Our view is different. DX–AI will not simply automate HR work.
It will change the architecture through which HR operates.
To accelerate Strategic HR and maximize business performance on the human side, it will need greater reproducibility. As a result, it will move in a more operational direction.

In the past, many human-related decisions at the front line were difficult to capture as data. With DX–AI, these decisions can increasingly be converted into data, connected to KPIs, and tracked over time.
This allows Strategic HR to function more like an automatic transmission in a car: not entirely replacing human judgment, but enabling a higher level of structured control.

The role most affected by this shift may be the HRBP.
In our view, some of the functions historically performed by HRBPs will be implemented through AI-enabled systems and structured HR architecture. Over time, the title “HRBP” itself may gradually disappear from formal organization charts.

What emerges instead is the HR Accelerator.
The HR Accelerator is not an HRIS team.
It is not an IT function.
It is not a productivity mechanism.
It is a human strategy engine designed to manage readiness, connect HR architecture with execution, and transform HR into a decision-driving function.

The full explanation remains in ERR& Insight Vol. 11 and its supplement.
The visual below summarizes the core structure of the idea.

In the age of DX–AI, strategy must be designed as architecture.
Human-Centric HR is not kindness. It is a strategy.
